Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: October 6, 2026
At ExploreJapanDaily, transparency and trust are important to us. Some links on this site may be affiliate links. If you use one to make a booking or purchase, ExploreJapanDaily may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This helps support our free travel guides.
How Affiliate Links Will Work
Clicking certain links and completing a booking or purchase may earn ExploreJapanDaily a small commission from the partner, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are marked or otherwise disclosed where appropriate.
Our Editorial Independence
Affiliate relationships will not influence which destinations, hotels, tours, or products we recommend. All recommendations on ExploreJapanDaily are based on editorial judgment: we only feature services our team has researched and believes will genuinely help travelers. Sponsored content, if it ever appears, will always be clearly labeled as such.
Current Affiliate Partners
Our current accommodation affiliate relationship is with Expedia Canada through CJ Affiliate. This relationship is limited to links specifically configured for the Canadian program; it does not mean Expedia sponsors, endorses, or is otherwise affiliated with ExploreJapanDaily.
We are also a Wise affiliate through Partnerize. If you sign up for Wise through one of our Wise links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We use Wise ourselves when we travel, and that is why we write about it, but our guides also explain its fees and the situations where cash or another card is the better choice. Wise does not review or approve our content.
